Chestnut Farofa and Brazil Nut Oil

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups coarsely chopped mixed nuts
  • 1 cup cassava flour
  • 1 small onion cut into cubes
  • 3 cloves of garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • ¼ cup Brazil nut oil
  • Salt to taste

Method of Preparation:

1. Start by browning the onion and garlic in 2 tablespoons of Brazil nut oil.

2. Add the chestnuts and let them brown lightly.

3. Add the cassava flour and the remaining Brazil nut oil, let it brown for a few seconds and finish with the raisins.

4. Adjust the salt and serve.
